Can You Add Colour To These Lies….

Silent rain, a smiling face
Beady eyes, the dreams inside
Safe beneath this ignorance,
Your lies, my sacred bliss.

When life is in shades of grey,
Can you add colour to these lies.
When truth is making believe,
Can you add colour to these lies.

Fallen leaves, an old memory
A shaft of light, the voice inside
Safe beneath my own shadow,
Here lies, my sacred bliss.

When fate is a song unwritten,
Can you add colour to these lies.
When love is the scream unheard,
Can you add colour to these lies.

  1. why are you so intent on calling your life a lie... it can just be truth from a different perspective.. that way you dont have to add any clours :P

  3. @ sailu - lie in my eyes, truth in another's... truth in my eyes, lies in another's... add colour to these lies to make them true in everyone's eyes :) But well, its more for small instances in life, I don't really call my life a lie.

Great lines. I believe it is in us to see the color in things. We should probably think about adding color to our eyes, rather than to things or events around us. Some things, I believe, cannot be categorized as truth or lies.
